Peroneal Tendon Subluxation

I recently had Peroneal Tendon Subluxation from a basketball game. My foot has only been casted without any surgery. I would prefer not to have one unless it is really needed. My question is

Has anyone played at full percentage after having a surgery? If so, how many months have you fully recovered before playing again? I am very active at this sport and hope i could play again.

Hello!

It would take least a period of 6 months after a successful surgery and rehab for complete involvement in sports.

Continue conservative therapy and follow up with your orthopedician.

Take care!
