Physical Therapy after a fractured fibula

Would like to know type of exercises are generally required 2 months following a high fracture of the fibula?

Hello!

Avoiding exercises or physical exertion during healing phase is essential so that lower legs have enough time to rest and there is no strain on them.

I would suggest range of movement exercises and check out with scans and confirm healing before starting them.

One great balance exercise is to try to stand still on one leg for 10-15 seconds and you can up the challenge by trying to raise up onto your toes standing on one foot while keeping your balance.

Check through your PT for 3-5 sessions for some proper exercises.

Take care!
