I was an athlete in high school. It has been a few years since i graduated but i have stayed in shape for the most part. Recently i have been experiencing severe pain in my right bicep after doing things like pitching baseball or throwing football. Its a stabbing, burning, sharp pain. Ice doesn't help. Days after the initial pain, i continue to have pain through my wrist, forearm, bicep, shoulder and neck. it usually lasts about a week to 2 weeks. I always stretch before excercise. i never had this problem playing sports in high school. please help.

Hello!

There might be a tear in the muscle which has not healed whcih is causing pain in the biceps over the years.

I would suggest you to visit an orthopedician for examination and follow up with an MRI for proper diangnsis.

Take care!
