RA symptoms or misdiagnosed?

by angel71, Aug 06, 2009 04:33PM
I am having numbness and pins & needles feeling in my elbow down to my fingers. I also have a pins & needles..kinda sharp stabs in my shoulders. I have been diagnosed with RA and Fibromyalgia. Im concerned as to whether I could have been misdiagnosed and have MS. If not that could it be nerve entrapment? Any info on these subjects would be helpful. I did have a positve RF factor.

To: angel71,
Do not come to self diagnosis of MS as this will lead to mental stress.
The connective tissue disorders have similar symptoms and only if RF is positive it cannot be Rheumatoid arthritis. Even in Sjoegren's syndrome RF is positive.

Follow up near a good neurologist for examination and advice and if required go for an MRI.
Take care!
