Restricted movement of the wrist

I am a 25 year old male.I met with an accident about 6 months back. The entire weight of my body and my bike(which weighs about 140 kgs) was borne by my right shoulder. There was acute pain in my elbow and my shoulder and I couldnt really move it for a week. There was pain in my wrist as well.Doctors did an X-ray of my elbow.I took multiple opinions, one of them saw a hairline fracture, one said "I dont want to put a plaster because it'll cause you trouble in the future",but most of them said the X-rays were normal. But now the problem is that even though the pain in the elbow has subsided the wrist continues to ache. This is a faint pain but exaggerates when there is the slightest of movement, when I am brushing my teeth or even while writing.I feel as if I am stretching a body part even when I do these daily activities.I often support the wrist by holding it with my left hand.I probably neglected it when the accident happened because the elbow took priority. What could be the problem?

The hairline fracture was found someplace on my elbow. But its my wrist which is troubling me now.My Dad whos also a doctor says that I have too less a grip in my right hand and this could be a sign for trouble. The pain radiates from the wrist to forearm.Anyway I will see an orthopedist soon.Thank you.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello!

You still have some healing to complete. I would suggest you to rest your wrist and hand in an elbow brace or cast for 4 weeks and follow up for present day scans. See an orthopedician.

With proper rest the healing of sprains and minor hairline fractures will be complete and then you can start physiotherapy and slowly start weight bearing.

Take care!
