Scaly skin on legs

Sorry, topic is not "foot problems" but there was no "leg problem" one to select. My problem is that for several months now the skin on my legs appears to be turning a little 'scaly'. It's the best way to describe it - it just looks very dry.

Im not sure exactly when or how it started but when im indoors I like to lounge around in my shorts and t-shirt, which i've done practically every day since start of summer... Ohh, and I have a tower fan which I've got on quite a lot these days...

I've been using a moisturising lotion every second day or so for about a month but im seeing no improvements. The dry skins is only on my legs, but is more visible around the ankles. It's not itchy, but it's quite embarassing etc.

Any ideas?

Hi.

How would you describe the scaly skin? Are they silvery scales? Leathery? Any other symptom?

Skin scaling can be caused by many conditions, including psoriasis, fungal infections, ichthyosis, allergies, erythroderma, vitamin deficiency, etc. It would be best if you consulted a dermatologist to completely evaluate your symptoms.

Good luck.
