Shoulder hurts to touch with no visible bruise

My left shoulder has hurt for more than 2 months and is just getting worse. I can move it, lift with it, lay on it, throw with it, whatever...and it won't hurt. BUT, if you touch it, I almost buckle or scream. If I touch the top of the shoulder it hurts really really bad.

What is causing this pain?
