Shoulder??

Hi. I recently broke and dislocated my shoulder. Shoulder was put back in place and then had surgery to screw tendons (which had become dettached) back onto the bone.
Then 3 weeks after surgery I slipped and fell in the shower and the way I fell it jerked my shoulder upwards. It was pretty sore at the time but it has felt fine since. I'm due to start getting physio work on it in a few days, should I have the shoulder checked out first?

    Thanks for writing in. Healing of a fracture takes around 3-4 weeks time.

     If you have a dislocation due to the second fall there could be swelling, deformity of the joint. Also there would be restriction of movements in that joint with pain. Do you experience any of these symptoms?

Even if you are asymptomatic, i suggest to get an X-ray done and take the opinion of  an orthpaedician before starting with physiotherapy.
