Someone shed some light, need help

Good evening, I broke my 5th medatarsil (spelling not sure), 8 years ago, since then I have walked with a pretty good limp, asked the surgen if he removed the 2 screws from my foot, would I not limp anymore, he said 50% chance any thoughts, and, my insurance company is denying the claim on my lower back pain, claiming that the broken foot and limp has nothing to do with my lower back pain or degenerative disc disease. If anyone has any documents stating the fact of limping causing lower back pain, I sure would appreciate any help or articles you know of to help support my claim.

I'm not to bad, the Doctor that wrote the report stated that the gait had nothing to do with it, stated that since the limp  would get worse by days end, and that on the day of the visit, I had only a slight limp, so with that info, he reported that there was no way that the limp would cause lower back pain and or speed it up.  I have to talk with my surgen on Monday, i am praying that he will help me with a report, the surgery and med bill are over 20,000

Hi Levy,
How are you feeling?
It is indeed inter-related that either limp would cause lower back pain in longer run or lower back pain can cause limping or change in gait.
I think it is known to most of the medical fraternity the cause of limping and cause for lower back pain.
I think you should be discussing this with your surgeon and make him talk to insurance company.
Keep me informed.
Bye.
