Spinal Bone Refusion

Spinal Bone Refusion

After havig Posts inserted11 months ago, I am still having a terrible sciatic and lower back on both sides of back and four sides of legs.  I have heard from a good Doctor that I may need to have an Anterior Refusion.  I had Posterior Fusion originally.  I have been living with very much pain, I only use 2-3 Percocet 10/325 peray and stillhave extreme pain.  With a fusion on upper Lumbar L3 say, can this cause pressure on S1 eventually if bone graph is not fully healed?

It can cause pressure on the adjacent levels if it fuses. Fusions usually effect the level above and below, but I'm sure it effects all of them to some degree.
Good luck with your refusion, I had a posterior  fusion too.
