Sprain ankle after affects

I sprained my left ankle 7 months ago. I walked the first day and from there I rested it. I still feel minor pain, I hope it's my imagination. I feel that my right ankle is stronger than my left. Is my left ankle weaker, and will I be able to get it back the way it used to be? I can still walk, run, etc. Its just I have the feeling it hurts in the muscle where I sprained it. I've been cracking my ankle constantly to ease the pain, but it doesn't do me any good.

I spranged my ankle and it took about a year and a half before the pain went completly away. I think it is because we use that part of our body more than most so it takes longer to heal. especially if you injure it again so be careful and baby it alittle.
