Sternoclavicular Joint injury - Over 1 year

Hi, More than a year ago I fell off my bike and injured my right SC joint (Fell off with arm to side onto shoulder). At the time I didn't have much, if any, discomfort in my SC joint and it only became apparent a couple of weeks later when I noticed pain and a lump. At the time I fell off I still had a full range of movement with little pain. I carried on cycling another 70miles). A year later my SC joint swells throughout the day and I have moderate pain (not enough to warrant pain killers.... yet). I went to see my doctor, orthopaedic, and PT all of which thought it was dislocated. I had x-rays and an MRI and to their (and my) surprise it was not dislocated. Since then I was told the best option was to leave it and it will heal in time however, it has not improved at all since day 1 and the pain is starting to bug me. I also have a very active lifestyle (I swim, play UWH, Cycle, climb, gym etc..). I'm thinking there is something in the joint that is aggravating it?

I'm here for advice on what I should do next. What do you think it could be? What should I do?
