Strange trembling in my left leg

About a year ago I was diagnosed with spondylesis on l4 and l5 on both sides, I have managed my pain very well, and I am not on any pain medicine.  Lately I have been feeling this 'new' pain and strange trembling(not visible), from my hip to my toes.  I haven't had surgery because I have no insurance.  I never really had too much pain in my right leg, but lately its getting worse.  Is the trembling and new pain a sign that it's getting worse, and how long is too long to wait for surgery?
