Subluxation/chondromalacia

Subluxation/chondromalacia

I have been diagnosed with subluxation of both kneecaps.  I must undergo arthroscopy on both knees to remove varios pieces of bone and debris.  I also have a lesion on my left tibia that has deformed the tibia on the front and right sides, near the knee.  I have been told I must see an orthopedic oncologist for this.  What can I expect as far as a biopsy on this lesion?  It does not appear to be fluid-filled.  Also, although my left knee appears worse on xray, I have sustained several injuries to my right knee and it will 'dislocate' occasionally.  Any advice on any of this info. would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sparky,
How are you? What is your name? How old are you?
Well as per your post it is not clear as what type of lesion they are and what its characteristics are.
Is there any imaging being done? If yes what type of imaging is done?
What is being reported on imaging study?
Did the doctor say it as benign lesion or malignant lesion?
Is the lesion from the bone or cartilage?
Regarding biopsy, it is key to diagnosis. It is beneficial to the pathologist and surgeon to have a narrow working diagnosis at the time of the biopsy. The biopsy should be done at the center where the treatment is to be given.
Keep me informed.
Bye.
