Suggestion On Unknown Lump at Feet

by icywind89, Aug 19, 2008 04:19AM
This unknown appearance of a lump on my left foot.. after going to the doctor for a X-Ray. The Doctor couldn't determined what is the lump as the x-ray report shows that the lump does not contain any bone. The Doctor recommend that i should go thought an operation to find out what it is. I also went to see a Chinese doctor, the doctor told me that the lump is actually a clot blood that has dried out within the leg and suggested that i should go thought a session of Acupuncture to resolve my problem. But im worried that the lump could be a tumor and having a acupuncture would actually worsen its condition. Any Seggestion On What Should I Go For? Operation? Or Acupuncture.

Hi, please consult surgeon for proper diagnosis, lump could be due to cyst, tumor, hematoma, bony outgrowth etc. Biopsy is done to find out the composition of growth.

Sometimes soft tissue injuries result in lump formation which goes away with giving hot compressions and anti inflammatory drugs.
