Surgert of Spinal Stenosis of C3 - C6

I had the surgery on my neck (C3 -- C6) on May 8, 2008.  Every since the surgery, but of my hands (fingers) are numb. Went back to the Surgeon yesterday (Nov. 25) and the Dr. looked at the recent MRI and really made no comment as to why my hands are numb.  Further, he offererd no suggestions for any kind of treatment.  Needless to say, I was very dissappointed in the Dr's lack of interest as to why the surgery had not been successful in relieving the pinched nerves.

My question is:  Is there any chance that my numbness may clear up with time.  I'm taking Lyrica.  The Dr. did say I could try traction again, since there was no fusion of the the discs during the surger....just a clearing and cleaning out of the spinal opening from C3 - C6.

Any suggestions from anyone would be appreciated.
