Surgery on one collarbone, now other is acting up

by shannonwooten, Jun 06, 2007 12:00AM
Hey... I had surgery a little over 2 months ago on my R collarbone on my sternoclavicular joint. For four years now, my collar bone would dislocate from my breast bone constantly throughout the day. The surgery made my joint a fixed joint by tying my collarbone down to my first rib so it cant move.

WELL... maybe about a week ago, I noticed my L collarbone can now dislocate. Whenever I would raise my L arm up, it dislocates like my other one did that I had a surgery on.

I don't see any explanation for this... I didn't have any physical trauma to any collarbone joint... just happened on its own.

??? Any Ideas?
