TB

Dear Sir,
I am Richa 24 years girl unmarrind suffering from TB since from 8 months.Around 1.8 years back there was swelling in my right lymph nodes.After 1 year TB was detected.And around 6 months i am teking Conbutol 1000 & R cinex 450 once in a day.And since from 2 months i am taking Levolfox 750 mg But still that swelling is there.How much time it will to take to resolve it?Please help me out for that one.Is there are any side effects of tablates?

This is a forum for orthopedics and I would love to answer on Potts spine and tuberculosis affecting bones only.

But for pulmonary tuberculosis I would suggest you to put your question in a different forum.

Do not take Tuberculosis medications without consulting a local TB clinic and a TB specialist. In every district capital hospital in India there is a TB specialized clinic.

You should take 4 drugs (isoniazid, rifampicin, ethambutol and pyrazinamide) for 2-3 months followed by 2 drugs (isoniazid and rifampicin) for 6-7 months.

You need a proper course of medications or you will develop resistance.
