TIB/FIB FRACTURE

I broke my tibia and fibula on 1/15/08   I had six screws with plate and rod.  I am walking but no full weight bearing.
What is the recovery time?  Go back to the doctor on May 19 to see if bone is healing.  

I fell in my kitchen.  Have been very active.  I am 58 years old with no medical problems.

The fracture healing time is dependent in the type and the extent of injury.
Usually it would take about 3-6 months for healing of fracture provided there is n complications.
