Teen with shoulderpain

My dau has Absence Epilepsy. She falls a LOT, usually with nothing around to cause the fall. A few weeks ago she fell and hit her shoulder against a stool.  The Xrays showed nothing.  She couldnot move her arm for 4 weeks.  It still hurts very much, but we did what the ortho said and took the sling away.  I wish I could say anything we did helped.  Further xrays of the shoulder, collarbone and arm show nothing, but the arm is still swollen and hard.

Anyone have any ideas to help?

Hi,
Do an MRI to check for soft tissue injury/tendon injury,it could possibly be one.Tie a creep bandage and restrict the movements.Consult an ortho for a second opinion ,Be on some NSAID's for pain relief.
Goodluck.

what is her range of motion? if she can't move it very hgh it could be frozen shoulder, did she have an MRI? As far as her arm being swollen and hard, my friend had an injury and her leg is still swollen so it might take a while to heal. if she hurts a massage might benefit.

hope this helps
