Torn Quadricept Tendon

by laclada, Jul 03, 2009 10:01PM
Is there a time frame for fixing a torn quadricept tendon.   I have just had a stint put in my heart and was told elective surgery is out of the question for at least one year, do to the medication I am taking.

No it is not an emergency and you can do some physiotherapy and give required rest to that leg. Discuss with your surgeon as every case differs from another and plan an elective surgery for your quadriceps repair after 10-12 months. Take care!
