Tulika-Bend in right leg

Hi All :

Thanks to Medhelp who has given us all this opportunity to clear your med related issues thru
this forum.

I had been going thru lots of depression when I observe or hear someone telling that 'see how
she walks.  I do not know since I was 6-7 yrs old and now I am 37, my friends use to tell that
your one right leg is bend or short, I never had any accident or pain in my leg and I can also
feel that my right leg is bit bend and due to this it has become short of the left leg and when
I walk my style is bad.

Please help me how do I get rid of this.

Hi,
How are you feeling? First thing first because of you being short on one side does not make you small or less equipped than anybody else.
Secondly you should have been addressing this issue when you were young as any intervention would have healed faster and we would not have lost so many years.
Thirdly now you need to see an orthopaedician and get yourself evaluated. Imaging study is must as this would help in seeing the existing pathology and would help in deciding the intervention.
In any case the correction has to be done surgically.
