Ulnar nerve

Ulnar nerve

I have been having elbow pain since August-September 2008.  I have also been having significant problems with my carpal tunnel.  I work for a physical therapist who performed my NCS.  He stated that it was time to get surgery and wanted me to go through workers comp.  They referred me to a hand specialist and he examined me and agreed that I had carpal tunnel as well as bilateral hypermobile ulnar nerves and explained the surgeries to me.  When he found out I was workers comp everything came to a complete halt.  My carpal tunnels (bilateral) are doing better however, but my elbow continues to get worse.  The numbness/tingling in my little finger and ring finger came and went regardless of the wrist **** up splints.  About a week ago the pain in my elbow limited my movement, range of motion, and my little finger, ring finger, and down that side of the hand, both sides, have been constantly numb.  My elbow pain is better now but the numbness has not subsided.  My little finger and ring finger are starting to curl and when I stretch them out I can really feel a pull.  When I move my arm I feel an electric zing down my forearm from my elbow.  I have been wearing my elbow splint at night for the past three weeks and have tried Ibuprofen.  I went to the hand specialist yesterday and he told me that his elbows have been hurting him the past couple of weeks and this is the last thing he needs.  He told me "I can't account for all your aches and pains."  Tried giving me another splint to wear, told him I have been wearing mine for the past three weeks.  He said to come see him again in four weeks.  How long do I wait????  Please help.  I wouldn't think that my ulnar nerve would be part of my workers comp so why won't he help me?????
