Unexplained Wrist Pain?????

Hi!

I have been having pain in left wrist for over 4 years. I have a bad history with my left wrist. I broke it first in 2007 ( a radius fracture and a fracture of the tip of the ulnar styloid process). In 2012, I got an alvusion fracture of the ulnar styloid process after arm wrestling my friend. (unlucky!!)

After the 2012 fracture occurred, I went to the doctors of course but was let off with no treatment expect wise words to simply be careful with the wrist, and that it would heal on its own.

So to the present day. I still experience pain in my wrist. Pain from say picking up stuff, turning it, moving it. Playing guitar is also another good example where I get pain, on the ulna side it sometimes even swells. It hurts after just using my wrist to much. And it is only the left wrist, my right one is perfect. There is always pain in the left! There is also areas on my wrist that are tender to touch, some areas not close to the fracture, such as on the top of the wrist. When people prod at my wrist, my entire arms starts to get lazy, sore.

A few weeks ago I finally went to the doctors, the pain was just not realistic to live with. I got an X-ray first and all that she noticed that was not normal was a "A remote ununited fracture transverses the ulna styloid with a 6mm bony fragment related to the tip of the ulna styloid" - but they said this cannot be causing the pain so she sent me for an ultrasound.

On the ultrasound they found no cause for my pain. Now she is sending me to Physio. The Physio believes it may be the bony fragment that is causing this pain, Now getting referred to a Fracture Clinic.

If anybody has any suggestion please help.

Also, in the ultrasound they ruled out any problems with tendons, tenosynovitis, evidence of subcutaneous mass lesion and ganglion formation.
