In a bone density test, my bones are resulted to be weaker. They are at the stage of Osteopenia the stage before Osteoporosis I guess. I really want to strengthen my bones. I know that I need to increase the content of calcium in my bone. Kindly advise the food I should have everyday to strengthen my bone.
Also is there any medicine available to increase the bone strength.
Aside increased calcium intake it is also important to get your vitamin D levels checked. Taking plenty of fruits and vegetables would also be helpful. There are a few medications that might be helpful in building up bone mass; however these should only be taken after advice and written prescription by a doctor. I would suggest consulting your treating doctor for suggestion of an appropriate management plan.
