Whacked Elbow and pinched the nerve while climbing

by mtnbuilder, Oct 17, 2009 03:21PM
I hit my arm really hard the other day and have a tingling sensation in my pink and ring finger and also on that side of the hand.  The fingers are the same color as the rest of my hand if that means anything.  I have read some of the other posts but they have all been about injuries that have happened over time.  Mine was a perfect hit on the back of the elbow.  I need to know if I should use heat or ice to treat it.  I am already taking advil for the inflamation (inflammation).  How long should I wait to go see a doctor.  In my findings I have read that I should wait a week and see how it is.  I and am trying to decide if I would go to work this week.  your thoughts and opinions are greatly appreciated.
