What could be the cause of intense pain in my ankle 5 years after ankle surgery?
5 years ago I broke all the bones in my ankle in a car accident.They put it back together with 2 plates and 7 screws.Over the years I have had very little trouble with my ankle,just mild soreness.I woke up this morning with it being painful,and by this afternoon it hurts so badly I can barely put weight on it,it hurts constantly.What could be the cause? and what should I do about it?
