What is the cause of my back pain?? MRI report included

I am 31 years old. I am 6'2" and about 250lbs. I have been living with severe back pain for about 7 years or so. It wasnt any one thing that brought it on it has just gotten worse over time. Below is my mri report can someone please explain to me what may be causing my pain. My daughter just said try some core strenth exersises and sent me home. Up until 2 years ago I was 215lbs and worked out 5 days a week until it got to be to much pain to deal with. Below is the mri report and thank you so very much for any help.


FINDINGS: Once again there is no evidence of canal stenosis; very slight relatively lesser AP diameter of the canal is
seen at L2-3 and L3-4 and there is a very slight pattern of facet and ligamentum flavum hypertrophy L2-3 through L4-5.
There is in no respect encroachment of the canal, recesses, cord, conus or roots. Slight mid to upper lumbar levoscoliosis
is again apparent.
IMPRESSION: Slight lumbar levoscoliosis; slight compensatory endplate and facet findings L2-3 through L4-5;
slightly lesser congenital AP caliber of the canal L2-3 through L4-5 without evidence of canal stenosis congenital or
acquired; stable exam.
