Why do my muscles pull?

I've always really had a problem, but never really thought about it untill recently. I pull between about a minimum of 3 a week. Sometimes i will be walking and the bottom of my foot will pull, or i reach for something and i pull my shoulder or even stretching my leg out in the morning and ripping the muscle. I really want to sort this but i'm not sure how... Anyone got any ideas?
