Worse pain in hip than before surgery

I am a 29 year old female runner. It's been almost three months since I had surgery on my stress fracture in my right hip. The doc basically went in and put three screws in the bone.
I took it easy and didn't do much of anything for about a month and then I was cleared to start exercising, mainly swimming and the exercise bike.
I have also been walking on the treadmill.
I have days where it is difficult to get out of beds in the morning and I still have an awful limp and a lot of pain in the hip area. It seems to me to feel worse than before I had the surgery.
Does anyone know if this is normal, or if there might be some complications that I might have?
I appreciate any insight into this!

Hello!

If the surgery was successful and if there is no infection on the present day then continue physiotherapy.

Go for a present day X-ray and see the progress and discuss with your surgeon if there are problems with respect to healing.

Take care!
