by kayceeface, Mar 25, 2008 08:24PM
I have bersitis in my hips, and in the past have gotten cortizone shots to ease the pain. I am currently 6 months pregnant and am my bersitis is so bad i can't sleep, my hips constantly ache and now the achyness has moved down to my left knee. is this part of the same problem or something unrelated?

Hello.

It seems you have not been benefiting from any medication for the bursitis. The pain that you have in the knees is actually a referred pain. Referred pain is pain at some other area supplied by the same nerve which supplies the area which has the original problem.
