Hi!
After any foot surgery there can be some swelling of the foot that can also be felt at the ankle. However, the swelling can also be due to an old injury or due to bleeding at the site of surgery or due to infection. It is important to raise your foot on a stool while sitting or keep it elevated on a pillow when you are sitting on the bed. Also, please inform your doctor regarding this. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you.
