bilateral hipreplacement

by taleta, Sep 04, 2009 04:54AM
I have had bilateral hip replacements 4 months ago. I am getting very frustrated with the severe muscle stiffness. How long until I can walk without a limp or muscle pain?
What can I do to improve my muscle tone?

Hello!

You would need Physiotherapy to fight the stiffness. It will take time but continue your therapy and the improvement should be progressive and you would regain range of movements slowly. It would take at least 6 months from the operation for proper movement.

Take care!
