I had an MRI on my knee that showed a bone infarct. Now the doctors are concerned about a blood clot. What exactly is a bone infarct and how can it be related to a blood clot. I know about the infarct of muscle like in the heart, but I've never heard it in relation to the bone. Can I reverse it and what are some things I should ask the doctor to understand my situation. I also have M.S. and I've been on prednisone and I have balance problems. What can I do to help my situation and what questions do I ask the rhumatologist when I see him? What blood work are they doing on me that would tell them my situation level and what meds are they going to use to hopefully reverse or maintain my problems?
