brachial plexus palsy after clavicle fracture surgery

by toum, Dec 29, 2008 02:09PM
I fractured my left clavicle in a motorcycle accident in September and underwent an open reduction/internal fixation (plate and screws) in December this year. as a result of this surgery, I developed total brachial plexus palsy in my entire left arm (arm, forearm, wrist, and fingers). I was wondering whether you have ever encountered such a complication and whether you can shed some light on the prognosis.
