brusing

i have got small bruising under big toenails i havent bumped or knocked my toes and i have got large bruising on the tops of my thighs there are a number of small bruises scattered on the rest of my legs does anyone know what this could be i have been getting tired too lately which is quite unusual for me.

Hi, I suggest you to go for a laboratory blood analysis for complete blood count and platelet count along with bleeding time. There might be some disorder with clotting mechanism causing effortless bruising. Some one can comment on the condition only after these results are obtained. Good luck.

thankyou.i have been for blood test and i am waiting for results from docs.my doctor did mention clotting problems but seemed baffled with the bruising on my toes unles she didnt want to suggest what it may be a symptom of i have been getting a terrible ache in my lower right leg for the last few days too and i am now beggining to worry i darnt call for results in case theres something wrong.

Hello!

Take some ibuprofen to relieve you of the pain. After getting your bleeding time, clotting time and results of other indicators and examination of your bruises some diagnosis can be made.

Rule out also any possible infections and allergies and drug reactions. You should also go for blood uric acid levels to rule out gout.

hi i have recieved the results of my blood test and the nurse said everything is normal i am still worried as the bruising is still there and the pain in my leg is steadily getting worse i dont know what to do now as i feel a bit silly keep going to doctors however i do have a appointment for tomorrow but i am almost certain they will tell me its nothing as this seems to be the case with everyone.
