buying hte correct shoes

Hi,
I have a high arch and profound bunion on my right foot which is also my dominant foot.
What are the best shoes to wear? I have heard conflicting ideas: I have heard to cover up the bunion is ok with strappy shoes or covered shoe . I was told not to let the bunion be exposed esp. right below a  strap as it can grow and get bigger ?(even though these are the most comfortable shoes)
Confused.

You can wear proper covered shoes which are used for arch problems. You can get them in any orthopaedic store. You should select them in consultation near a trainer/physiotherapist. Try wearing your shoes and with any trouble, change to an alternative one. If it does not relieve you for long term, surgery is an option. Take care!
