Hello!

The most important thing is to avoid deep vein thrombosis.

I would suggest you to regularly do some ankle exercises as in dorsifexion and plantar flexion to pump your venous blood properly and avoid pooling of blood.

Take suitable blood thinners whenever you go for major operative procedures.

Maintain complete hygiene and avoid infections and take antibiotics if prescribed by your cardiologist.

Take care!
