carpal tunnel surgery recovery time

I had endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery Dec. 11, 2009.  I am still having quite a bit of soreness in my hand.  When I wake up in the morning, it's real sore.  If I do anything strenuous it really bothers me.  I play rec vball and it still is quite painful after a game.  How long does the soreness and pain take to go away.  It's been over 3 months!

Hello!

Recurrence of carpal tunnel syndrome following treatment is rare. I would suggest you to get yourself examined and rule out any infections, nerve damage, stiffness and pain at the scar.

Although symptoms may be relieved immediately after surgery, full recovery from carpal tunnel surgery can take months.

Take care!
