coccyx injury or what

coccyx injury or what

About a year ago I slept on a horrible sofa bed while on vacation, one morning I woke up and had horrible pain in my coccyx area, only hurting when sitting etc.  It has been a year now and though it has gotten a little better, it still hurts.  I don't know if this is related or not but I have being doing hip hop abs for several months and after several weeks of doing it, I am getting some hip flexor pain.  It has gotten so bad that the pain shoots down my thighs and hurts in both hips when I lay down.  A lot of strange pains in my hips, lower abdomen and legs.  I had a hysterectomy for severe endometriosis two years ago, and they removed everything.  The doctor who did my surgery said that there was remaining endo everywhere inside me.  For that reason, I don't take hormones because they would make the endo grow.  I am wondering if the endo dying off has caused any problems or if it is related at all even.  I went to my doctor today, and he did an abdominal and hip xrays .  He said they looked good.  He thinks it is soft tissue injury or something related to that.  This doesn't explain why my coccyx hurts or the other problems.  I am so confused.  If anyone can offer a different perspective I would appreciate it.  Thanks!  Shannon

Hello Dear,
Your pain could be a referred pain due to endometriosis .You should consult a physical therapist to manage the pain.
Best.
