crowded ribs and spinal problem

hello, i am 22 year old girl. There is small swelling like on my left rib and i have back pain for the last three more years. At the earlier stage  i had the pain at the lower back after a long walk or sitting continuously. But later it radiated to legs below the knees also. And now i have severe pain at the upper back, legs and hands, disturbing my sleep. And somtimes feel pain like effect on my back of the head. And i feel very difficulty like weakness for legs and gasping when climbing the steps and the same difficulty for hands while keepin some heavy objects for sometime. I have the trouble to breath when any preasure apply to body like doing massaging or physiotherapy . It prevents me from normal daily activities .I have fallen on my back for four times during these years.When i went to orthopeadic he asked for X-ray of ribs and lumbar spine. Doctor told like my ribs are crowded but cause no any serious problems and found nothing wrong in spinal x-ray.Then am asked for an MRI. It hasnt done yet. I want a help to know whats my actual problem could be?

it sounds like it could be spinal outlet syndrome...in which the disks press on nerves that cause reffered pain where that nerve goes... an MRI should confirm it could also be herniated disks but it really sounds like spinal outlet syndrome...
