do I need suergery?

I have left knee pain mri findings: nonspecific abnornal signal in the posterior horn of the root of the medial meniscus, small Baker's cyst 4x1.6x1.3 cm, and nonspecific abnormal signal within the metaphyseal portion of the femur.

hello royalcity,
looks like you have a small torn meniscus with baker's cyst.
If the pain is bothering you and your activity of daily living is affected, then you should opt for arthroscopy of the knee.
they will decompress the cyst as well as reshape your meniscus so that the torn portion is removed.
