elbow help

by dani3690, Feb 19, 2009 09:09AM
Hi all, im going to explain my pains and maybe.. hopefully someone might be able to give an opinion.
These symptoms and my situation has been going on for at least a year now

My elbow..problems..
the pain first started as shooting pains inmy elbow joint. went to my GP who gave me an injection. the injection made my arm 100 times worse, not only did the pain worsen but the skin went white and thin, and the muscle around the bony bit of my elbow just went away.
now the pain i can categorize as different types and different locations.
number one pain is if u put your arm out straight  (palm up)and find the hollow bit in your elbow is there, its hard to find the spot that hurts the most but when i do.. ouch! the pain is sharp and very very sore.
second pain is if you putyour arm palm up and touch the bit of your forearm/elbow that points in the air. that hirts to rub and the pain radiates down my forearm.
there is also pain when i straighten my arm and point my fingers to the sky feel like a tingle all the way into my fingers, similar to that if you were to sit on your butt with your legs out infront of you and touch your toes.
the worst pain is straigtening my arm and wiggling my rude or wedding finger. especially if there is resistance (i push on my fingers)

now i have had an MRI and went as far as to go into surgery. the surgeo looked at me the day of the surgery and felt where i had pain. he said that he didnt think it was tennis elbow and wouldnt do the surgery.
he gave me another injection.
im unsure if it has helped.. i think the pain level has gone down, but it is still there.

what could this be??
i have been told that the root of the problem has come from me doing martial arts since i was little and the repetivitve punching/pushups would have done it.
but no one can give me a diagnosis!
help!
