My left foot is in some sort of spasm and is turning on its side, i now walk on the side of my foot with my toes curled round. It does not really go back flat but some times the pain is not so bad. What causes this to happen ?
Well, without an evaluation it would be difficult to point out cause. A few possibilities include inflammations like tendonitis, arthritis, bursitis, fasciitis, growths like spurs, degenerations, ligament/ tendon injuries, fractures, dislocations, infections, nerve impingement/ compression, peripheral neuropathy, ischaemia etc. I would suggest an evaluation by an orthopedician for a diagnosis and an appropriate management plan. Meanwhile you may try some NSAIDS to help relieve the discomfort.
Hope this helps.
