frozen shoulder & the MUA procedure

hi again
i've been dealing with the frozen shoulder for months now & I have been through lots of  PT & 2 cort. injections.
i brought up the subject to my orhto about doing the MUA, so i can get the shoulder back to where I
can function better. My ortho doesnt seem to keen on the MUA procedure. he indicated that the outcome
where he had seen in some cases, didnt turn out with the best results.   he also mentioned that more adhensions
can developed & a lot more PT still has to be done.  i can deal with the PT but i am looking to get more ROM back
in your opinion, is the MUA worth doing at all?
thnx again
take care

hi jen,
MUA is useful, when done in proper hands.
Also there is - arthroscopic release of frozen shoulder,
where the surgeon, arthroscopically removes the tight region of the shoulder capsule.

All these , post operatively, requires good PT, as poor PT results into adhesions.

So, best is to consult an arthorscopic shoulder specialist.

Keep us posted also.
