hip joint effusion with bone marrow edema (head and neck of femur)

Hi--I had an MRI of the right hip due to right hip pain following some recent trauma.   The results were (R) hip joint effusion and bone marrow edema involving the neck and head of the femur.  The possibility of underlying occult fracture is suggested.  All else normal.  Recommended to see a orthropedic specialist.  Any opinions as to the meaning of these results and what can a orthro M.D. do?

hi buddy,
orthopaedician will check whether the possibility of occult fracture is present or not. coz, if it's present, things could be risky for you as you can aggravate this fracture which can result into a surgery. So meet him soon,
