hip pain from falling in yard today

Was mowing yard today and got tangled in my feet, fell forward on right hip....Was able to get up....I've been able to walk but with discomfort....Tonight right hip really bothers me, having a hard time walking....When laying in bed, I'm able to bring leg to my chest but with discomfort....Should I go to emergency room?

hello friend,
well if you are able to walk, it doesn't appears that you have fractured anything grossly.But it looks like you can have
1) Muscle and bone contusion
2) Acetabular labrum tear.

Don't worry.
Give rest with some anti-inflamatories.

If still it persists,
then you will require and orthopaedician.
