my son has been told he may have chronic leg bone infection or a tumor but  he is well what do you think he has ? thanks

Hi there!

Bone tumours can present in young children without any specific symptoms and may radiologically appear quite similar to infection. A biopsy is often required to identify the cause. At this time it might be too premature to comment on the situation and I would suggest waiting for the biopsy report before discussing the situation and the management plan with his treating doctor.
