knee pain after arthroscopy

I underwent arthroscopy 5 months ago. Flexibility is ok now (135 degrees), but I still experience knee pain when I do leg extensions, even without weights. I also experience some knee pain if I do straight leg raises if the weight is too heavy. What should I do? Thanks in advance.

Hello!

I would suggest you to rest for couple of days between workouts and apply ice packs after workouts regularly.

Take NSAIDs to decrease your pain and inflammation.

If symptoms continue then you would need to go for present day scans and diagnose your condition and follow up with an orthopedician.

Arthroscopy cannot cure osteoarthritis.

Take care!
