Hello!

Over exertion of the chest muscles can result in pain in your right side. The pain worsens with certain movements and is usually due to chest muscle tenderness.

Viral Infection like flu, cold, etc. can also give rise to chest pain on your right side.

Inflammation of the pleura gives rise to pain in the right side of the chest, especially more while coughing or deep breathing. It can be due to acidity, any local injury or trauma etc.

Take pain killers and rest and if it does not decrease then get yourself examined by a chest specialist and see into all possibilities for a proper diagnosis.

Take care!
